The Idaho Falls Events Center will provide short- and long-term economic benefits for Idaho Falls and be a major economic force in Eastern Idaho.

  • Construction of the Event Center will require up to 650 workers throughout the proposed 14-16 month construction phase. Nearly $16 million dollars in wages will be paid during the life of the project. Local workers will spend that money locally. Earnings are turned over, on average, four or five times in our community.

  • Millions of dollars in concrete, steel, lumber, plumbing, wiring, lights, speakers, asphalt, carpet, drapes, seating and other soft and finished goods could come from local and regional suppliers providing a boost to regional manufacturers.

  • Operations will require up to sixty full and part time staff. Those jobs will pay a total of $1,000,000 per year in wages in Idaho Falls.

  • Event Center attendees will spend more than $2.5 million per year at Idaho Falls hotels, restaurants, gas stations, retail shops, and local attractions.

  • Event Center operations total annual impact for Bonneville County will be more than $4.5 million.

  • The Event Center will raise the national and international profile of Idaho Falls as a sports, entertainment and business destination.
