Idaho Falls Auditorium District Welcomes New Board Member
The Idaho Falls Auditorium District is excited to welcome their newest member, Steve Vucovich, to serve on the board of directors. Vucovich will succeed Jill Kirkham who resigned earlier this year to devote more time to finishing her Doctoral Program.
Vucovich has been the Co-Founder and Managing Partner at Apple Fitness in Idaho Falls for the past 33 years and currently owns and operates Planet Fitness in Idaho Falls as well. He was born and raised in Ohio, but has been an active community member in the Idaho Falls area for over 43 years.
“I am extremely excited in being appointed to serve on the board of the Idaho Falls Auditorium District. As a long-time resident of Idaho Falls, my wife Kathy and I have longed to have additional entertainment opportunities different than what can be offered through our current venues as well as have Idaho Falls be a destination for regional/national conventions,” said Vucovich. “In addition to the obvious benefits of such a facility, I’m also very motivated by the fact that this facility will bring much added value to Idaho Falls in ancillary revenue to all the local businesses. This is a very positive and exciting venture and I am fully dedicated to seeing this project become operational.”
Vucovich was sworn in during the most recent IFAD board meeting held Tuesday, March 12th.
